Combining rhythmic breathing with some movement, take a meditative journey into yourself. This practice helps release some of energetic blocks in us that prevent intimacy while heightening conscious experience.

Featuring Ariyah Kimberlinn as co-facilitator, take a sensual meditative journey into tastes, smells, sounds, and touch to open possibilities into intimacy. Also, express your desires, fears, and boundaries to heighten a sensory experience that is also safe for you.

We will work in small groups, where you will discover how open or closed you are to certain sensory experiences.

6:30-8:30PM, 2100 Fairway Drive, #102

Let's have an open, frank, and probably vulnerable talk about our sex lives. However, let's also be mindful of each other's desires, fears, and boundaries in participating in this conversation.

By opening up, we can be heard; by listening, we can hear others. However, we will also learn to be mindful of each other and discover how it feels to share so openly to people who may be strangers.

6:30-8:30PM, 2100 Fairway Drive, #102

Co-facilitated by Sunshine Welsch, in a non-sexual way (meaning, no nudity and no genital touching), we open ourselves with a partner or two to touching and being touched. But more than that, we get in the practice of asking for what we want and stating definitively what we do not want – both as givers and receivers of touch.

6:30-8:30PM, 2100 Fairway Drive, #102

Is there a question that you have always wanted to know for yourself but have had trouble asking? In this moving meditation (dance), to guided facilitation, we ask ourselves that question and seek from our chakras (energy centers in our body) for their guidance.

On a personal aside, this is the meditation that Jim learned, and in it, set him on the path he is now both as an intimacy practitioner and a Chakradance facilitator. It has been a powerful meditation for him and others.

What exactly is sexual breathing as opposed to any other breathing? In this workshop, we will connect our breath to our sexual center and begin to move that breath through the chakra system. By doing this, we take energy from our root and move it up through our whole system, re-integrating sexual energy into our entire bodies, and opening ourselves to bliss.

While this workshop will be a solo practice (and no nudity), we will have opportunity for communicating what came up both with a partner.

6:30-8:30PM, 2100 Fairway Drive, #102

All of us have sides of us that we repress, pieces of us that scare us or that we would rather not come out. However, in repressing, these sides can have more power over us and begin to define our lives. For example, "I do not want to be angry like my father." We may, in avoidance of anger at all costs, be dominated in our lives by a story around not being angry that clouds everything else out.

In this workshop, we will take the vulnerable step of inviting our shadow out and inviting it into the open to be witnessed by the circle with the support of a partner who will help hold the space. By inviting the shadow out in a compassionate way, we can open ourselves to deeper intimacy.

Obviously, intimacy is and can be a playful improvisational practice, but the practice of improv – usually associated with comedy – has many other lessons for us in intimacy. In improv, we must listen. In improv, we must be aware of each other's feelings and boundaries. In improv, we must learn to trust ourselves, our partner, and our bodies and voices. Have fun playing, but learn lessons that can have a serious benefit in helping us be more intimate with each other.

No improv experience in any way required!
